This action is permanent. Deleting your account will erase all your scan history, preferences, and profile data. This cannot be undone.
What gets deleted
- Your account credentials (email, display name)
- All saved scan history and results
- Your diet type and allergen preferences
- Any linked Google account association
Data is permanently removed from our systems within 30 days of your deletion request.
Delete from within the app
The fastest way to delete your account:

Open FoodScanner Launch the app on your device and sign in if you haven't already.

Go to Profile Tap the Profile tab in the bottom navigation bar.

Tap "Delete Account" Scroll to the bottom of the Profile screen and tap Delete Account.

Confirm deletion A confirmation dialog will appear. Confirm to permanently delete your account and all data.
Can't access the app? Request via email
If you can no longer access your account or the app, send us a deletion request from the email address associated with your account.
Email Deletion RequestGuest mode users
If you used FoodScanner in guest mode (without creating an account), no personally identifiable data was stored under your identity. Simply uninstalling the app removes all local data from your device.
